These famous bullring dating from 1785 are the oldest in Spain
These famous arenas are the oldest in Spain (1785). It was here that most of the rules of bullfighting on foot were established by Pedro Romero and his ancestors, revolutionizing bullfighting, which was originally performed on horseback. The area was also the setting for Francesco Rosi's film adaptation of Carmen. In September, they host the famous corridas goyesca, during which toreros, banderilleros and picadores dress in the garb of 18th-century Madrid.

Jolie place dans une ville hyper agréable
Cette place, le petit parc à côté , les falaises au bout c'est vraiment une bel endroit pour se poser un peu.

Des arènes magnifiques à faire à l'ouverture avant l'arrivée des hordes de touristes ... un peu cher mais cela vaut le coup d'oeil ... joli petit musée sur la corrida
