The Gary Player-designed course opened in 1973 and twenty years later had over 400 members and a full schedule. Then the owners, Wimpey Construction, decided to sell the club. After several years of negotiations, ownership was transferred to the members in 1996. It is this feature that makes the welcome so warm. On the course, you can enjoy a par 71 consisting of two loops of 9 holes. The signature hole? A dogleg left par 5 that includes fairway bunkers, a lake and a two-tiered green!
