CUEVA DE NERJA
A cave located 5 km east of the village in the National Reserve of the Sierra de Tejeda
This cave is located 5 km east of the village in amount in the national reserve of the Sierra de Tejeda. The vast rooms are quite impressive. The 32 m high Cataclismo room had to require the fall of thousands of drops of water. We will also discover the world's largest stalactite: It measures 65 m. Formed about 5 million years ago, some non-accessible galleries are adorned with cave paintings dating back nearly 20 thousand years. A music and dance festival is organised in late July in this fantastic setting.

Only drawback, the cafe on site serving drinks and other snacks has very high prices.
