In the Caserón de los Alcaides Cristianos, the municipal museum contains remains of the city's past. The monumental complex of the fortress, built at the end of the 9th century, includes the Torre del Homenaje (keep), the Patio de Armas (courtyard of arms) and the Aljibe (Moorish well).
