One of the few places with a terrace, five double rooms, a triple and a quadruple suite in Montefrio
Seven kilometres from the beautiful white village of Montefrío and its delicious tapas, the Cortijo de Dominique and Richard are one of these rare places. On a nice day of 2001, it is by the very chance or, perhaps, a divine operation that by seeking their path, they discovered it at 960 m altitude, two kilometres from the main road leading to Granada. Since then, in the midst of 150 olive trees and many fruit trees, she has been able to bring to her and to her passion and passions, by inviting nice-heated Arab baths to biomass, an outdoor swimming pool (depending on April to October) or a chapel decorated with orthodox paintings… After a welcome mint tea, you will discover in the Le. main body of this former farm with terrace and lounges (library, TV), five double rooms (one junior suite), one triple and one quadruple suite and the beautiful Arabic-Andalusian decoration (exposed beams, tiled beams, colourful furniture, handcrafted carpets, lighting…). Without television for more tranquillity, equipped with comfortable bedding and linens of noble house, heating and fans, and some, even chimneys. In this natural setting, possibilities for excursions in the surroundings (Granada, Cordoba, Málaga, Sierra Nevada, Alpujarras, beaches or lake of Iznájar…), hiking on caminos (royal roads), and healthy meals and breakfasts: local products, bread cooked in situ in a Moorish oven, home jam, dry fruit and season… A different and relevant offer led by two friendly hosts loving to receive.

L’emplacement est magnifique, entouré de champs d’oliviers. La vue de l’auberge est incroyable. Tout est très beau, très propre, nouvellement rénové. La chambre était un havre de paix et le lit… tellement douillet et confortable.
Ce qui se démarque ceci dit de notre séjour, est l’accueil de nos hôtes. On se sent chez soi, dès notre arrivée et nos hôtes s’assurent que nous soyons le plus confortables et à l’aise possible.
Le déjeuner est le meilleur que nous ayons mangé jusqu’à maintenir en Espagne, et je vous recommande de prendre le souper préparé par les hôtes. Goûteux, très frais et copieux.
Ce séjour est un de nos highlights de notre voyage en Espagne. Nous avons bien rit, bien mangé, nous sommes bien reposés… Nous y retournerons très certainement!
