Cultural and recreational center to learn more about caves in the 21st century and their place in the world
Created in 2012, Trópolis is a cultural and leisure centre designed to promote knowledge and understanding of the ethnographic heritage of the caves in the province of Guadix. Through a thematic approach highlighting the basic local resources: bread, wine, cheese, crafts and caves. An audiovisual room presenting the different activities proposed. Workshops introduce you to bread and cheese making and you can leave with your own productions. You can also taste the wines in a bodega, visit an area dedicated to crafts (ceramics, esparto, etc.) and learn more about the caves of the 21st century and their place in the world. A visit based on the experimentation of a way of life, recommended with children.
