SEQUOIAS LA LOSA PROPERTY
Rare small forest with 2 varieties of gigantic redwoods
Planted 170 years ago in the Sierra Granada de la Sagra, these thirty gigantic trees form one of the few small redwood forests in Europe. Most of them reach a height of fifty metres and it takes seven people to open their arms to surround the seven metres of the perimeter of their trunk. There are two varieties of sequoias, the Sequoiadendron giganteum and the Sequoia sempervirens. Divided between a small forest with open access, with less well maintained trees and a forest belonging to the Baron de Bellpuig which allows the visit after a prior request. It is of course where you can find the most beautiful specimens, with the pretty souvenir photos. The easiest way is to go there via a guided tour.
