JAEN MUSEUM
Museum with a large collection of sculptures and paintings from the late Middle Ages to the 20th century
Since the inauguration of the new Iberian Museum in Jaén, the collections relating to Iberian statues from the 4th century BC have been transferred to the new space. However, a large archaeological collection from the Greek, Roman and Muslim eras is still on display. The other major section of the museum, on the second floor, is the Fine Arts section, which houses a large collection of sculptures and paintings from the late Middle Ages to the 20th century, including a Picasso. Of particular note is the room devoted to the 19th century.
