It is one of the oldest churches in the city, built in Visigothic times. But it has many styles: Gothic, Renaissance, the latter having made it even more beautiful. Note the carpenters' door, puerta de los carpinteros, which overlooks Calle Cervantes, in late Romanesque style, and its main door, overlooking Piazza 1 de Mayo, in Elizabethan Gothic style, in which plant motifs predominate. Inside, the various chapels show a very beautiful ironwork.
