CASA DE LOS MORA
Former Dominican convent founded by the Archbishop of Cordoba, which became national heritage in 1836 in Lucena.
Annexed to the Church of San Pedro Mártir de Verona, this building was a former Dominican convent founded in 1575 by the Archbishop of Cordoba and became a national heritage site in 1836. It was later used in many ways as an aniseed liqueur factory, oil mill and bodega. It still has a splendid Mannerist-style courtyard and a fountain in its centre, surrounded by gardens and palm trees. Its rooms, spread over three floors, are used for a variety of purposes, including teaching, meetings and temporary exhibitions.
