MORAL DILEMMA
Palace in the heart of the city, originally a medieval fortress with a square plan and corner towers.
In the heart of the city, this palace was originally a medieval fortress, with a square plan and corner towers, of which only two are preserved today: the homenaje (keep) and the torre del Moral (moral tower), joined by a passage. It was in this last tower that Boabdil, El Chico, the last Nazarene king, was imprisoned. After the disappearance of the kingdom of Granada, the place became the palace of residence of the lords of Lucena. Today, it houses an archaeological museum with ten thematic rooms, ranging from the evolution of the life of the land to the current city.
