Located on the Almería-Nijar road (N332), 9 km from the capital, this airport operates low-cost charter flights to a number of European cities. From Paris, for example, via Vueling, but with a stopover in Barcelona. It is mainly used for flights within Spain, via Air Nostrum to Madrid, Seville and Melilla, and Vueling or Iberia to Barcelona. The n°30 city bus shuttles passengers between the airport and the city center (C/ Doctor Gregorio Marañón) every 50 minutes from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. on weekdays (1.5 hours at weekends).
