CASTLE - CASTILLO
Castle very representative of the military architecture with a patio of honor Renaissance
The Alcázar de los Fajardo (Marquis des Vélez) was built by moorish prisoners between 1506 and 1513 at the request of the first Marquis, under the direction of an Italian architect and artists. If the castle has preserved its walls, its walls and the layout of the various pieces with their large chimneys, the restoration has been particularly badly done, with the laying of concrete beams everywhere. If it is impossible to undo what has been done, the castle nevertheless worth the visit even because it is very representative of military architecture and is one of the few in the region to be so well preserved. In addition, the Renaissance Honor Patio, which had been bequeathed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, was modeled on 3 D, which was installed a few days, but unfortunately can no longer be seen.
