Fig & Olive offers a menu with Moroccan, Basque, Italian and Greek influences. The common ingredient? Olive oil, of course, which can be found everywhere on the menu, from the varied salads to the tartines, crostini and tajines, to the solid paellas and salmon plates. In terms of atmosphere, particular care has been taken with both the decor and the service, which is both professional and relaxed. The formula works so well that two other restaurants have opened in New York. A gourmet stopover that smells of lavender and Mediterranean sunshine.
