HIROHISA
Excellent cuisine to be enjoyed in a restaurant of the chef Hirohisa Hayashi in New York.
No sign, but a narrow window and an engraved metal plaque: 'Hirohisa'. Japanese chef Hirohisa Hayashi's restaurant is one of Thompson Street's best-kept secrets, though a Michelin star in 2017 has changed that. One room, twenty seats at most, five cooks fiddling with knives over worktops. A tasting menu or a la carte dishes, to be enjoyed in a confidential atmosphere. The Miso Black Cod and the Uni Lobster Chaxan Mushi are highly recommended. An aerial experience.
