EMP is one of New York's best restaurants. Swiss chef Daniel Humm's new, evolving and inventive cuisine has been delighting Manhattan foodies since 2016, as well as Michelin awarding him three stars. In 2021, the chef surprised again by deciding to offer a 100% plant-based cuisine. The tasting menu consists of 8-10 dishes made from seasonal ingredients. A less expensive menu, also vegan, is available to customers seated at the bar. A meal that surprises, certainly, but a bill that remains difficult to justify.
