Mexican cuisine and delicious fresh fish by chef Aaron Sanchez in a restaurant with bar in New York City.
The food, Mexican, is fresh, good and well presented. A little cold, with its high ceiling and spacious room with large windows overlooking the street, the place is warmed up by the colors of the bar, the frieze on the walls, the large round tables and the candles on top. The service is efficient. A restaurant that will appeal to fish lovers(pescado del día on the menu). Depending on what's available, chef Aaron Sanchez offers a variety of fish dishes accompanied by rice and sauces (around US$20-25). Inspired by family recipes, he is the author of Aaron's Cookbook, la comida del barrio, sold at the restaurant. If you're not dining there, at least sit down at the bar to enjoy a margarita (US$12), centrico or pomme granade, for example, another specialty.
