NYONYA
Malaysian and exotic restaurant offering roti canai and a generous and exotic cuisine in New York.
Located on the border of Little Italy, built as if in a Southeast Asian hut (at last, a slightly welcoming setting!), this establishment offers hearty, exotic and spicy portions. The specialty is the roti canai, an Indo-Malaysian pancake with curried chicken dipped in a delicious sauce. You can also try cocktails made with coconut milk, such as sooi pooi or pulut hitam. Nyonya, one of the few Malaysian restaurants in New York (a complete change of scenery guaranteed), is well worth a visit.
