IL BUCO
Excellent selection of wines, good fresh fish and seafood cuisine in a romantic restaurant in New York City.
Originally, Il Buco was an antique store that served a few tapas on the go in a joyful atmosphere. One thing led to another, the place eventually installed an espresso machine before becoming a full-fledged restaurant. But, you'll see, the antiques are still there. The dishes are Mediterranean-inspired, consisting mainly of fresh fish and seafood. The choice of wines, mostly Italian, is impressive. And the setting is very romantic. A small wine cellar room is located in the basement.
