OMEN AZEN
Historic Japanese restaurant, the second oldest in New York City, offering sushi and noodles, one of the best in the city.
Omen is located on a quiet street, in a pretty little brick building. It serves some of the best sushi and noodles in the city, in a minimalist, cosy atmosphere. Opened in 1981 by Mikio Shinagawa, an imposing, quiet man, Omen is the city's second oldest Japanese restaurant, which regulars and travelers alike (especially French and Italians) enjoy frequenting. The menu changes seven times a year. A Japanese restaurant as in Japan, as the Japanese say.
