THE SPOTTED PIG

Seasonal cuisine prepared by chef April Bloomfield in a warm gastro-pub in the heart of the West Village.
In the heart of the West Village, on the corner of a quiet, cute street, this gastropub is certainly a favorite with New Yorkers, but it may be slightly overrated. English chef April Bloomfield concocts dishes from seasonal ingredients: Roquefort burgers, fish (haddock) and homemade crackers... A tempting menu, but not always up to expectations. We'll go to the Spotted Pig for its eminently warm setting, to say we've tried the place and for the atmosphere at the bar while we wait.
