MILON
Excellent tandoori and authentic cuisine at the cheapest Indian restaurant on 6th Street in New York City.
On 6th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues, one Indian restaurant follows another (we call this stretch Indian Row). Waiters on the street compete for customers. Milon is without doubt the best and cheapest on the list. On the second floor, in a tiny room stretched out in red, colorful and fine dishes are served, illuminated by kitschy neon lights and accompanied by hip-hop, reggae and house music. A little Bollywood. On the menu: curry masala (vegetables, beef, mutton, crab, shrimp, chicken), bhuna masala, kurma masala and vindalooshag masala (highly spiced), tandoori, house specialties (including lentils and spinach) and desserts, including the famous kulfi ice cream. The cuisine is authentic and the service discreet and friendly. Naturally, you'll be served lassi (whipped yoghurt). A little corner of India in the heart of the East Village.

A part ça la carte est bien fournie et les prix sont interressants.
