HARD ROCK CAFÉ
Good food and a nice selection of rock related items in an unusual restaurant in New York.
It's such an institution in New York that you have to see this living museum of rock culture and 1960s mythology up close, which, significantly, attracts not just the very young. After queuing up, you enter a bizarre space featuring a multitude of objects that have escaped the greed of fans: guitars, hats, glasses, photos, sheet music, records - all closely related to the undying stars of this indestructible music. It would take hours to inventory these 250 treasures (including the Buddha statue?). Originally founded in London, Hard Rock Café opened branches in Dallas, Stockholm, Tokyo, Cancun, Reykjavik and New York in 1984.
This is what we learn from the New York Guide, laid out on the tables and listing each item like a catalog. As for the typically American menu, it's as unsurprising as the rock music, which is generously provided and could do with a few decibels less.
