New York snack bar known for its excellent hot dogs at a very good value for money.
There's no special atmosphere here, and no seating, but the excellent value for money is unquestionable. This snack bar is renowned throughout the city for its hot dogs (even the most famous chefs admit to having a weakness!). You can eat them plain, i.e. put whatever you like in them: ketchup, mustard or both, or add their special onion sauce (a bit like barbecue sauce). If you want to do what real New Yorkers do, order 2 hot dogs (only tourists eat one) and a papaya juice ($4 in all!). There are several Gray's Papaya locations in Manhattan, so rest assured you won't miss out.
