It's a soul food temple, we'll go for brunch and order chicken and waffles, the house's classic dish.

Amy Ruth's is the temple of the soul food, a classic and a local institution in Harlem. The owner named the restaurant in honor of his grandmother, attentive and Christian cook devoting Alabama. Many African-American celebrities have gone through there, such as Billy Holiday, Spike Lee or Alicia Keys. The restaurant offers the home-style home style kitchen and specialties of salted and sweet waffles. There's something to eat, but you'll have to play elbows, it's often crowded, especially on Sunday noon.
