SYLVIA’S

Restaurant offering excellent Southern cuisine in New York City.
We don't hide it from you, Sylvia's is very touristy, but no less recommendable. Sylvia, a girl from the South, opened this small neighbourhood room 30 years ago. The famous pork chops in sweet and sour sauce are already served there. Today, the place is invaded all year round by foreigners coming out of a Sunday gospel, but the cosy aspect of the place and the quality of the cuisine of the South seduce. Sylvia and her husband Herbert, a former Navy sailor, are still in command. In the evening and Sunday at noon, meal to music.
