YAKITORI TAISHO
Restaurant, famous for its excellent yakitoris, close to NYU University.
One might wonder why students of Asian origin at NYU are willing to wait 45 minutes in front of this small restaurant, which does not give a feeling of impeccable hygiene at first glance. The reason is the incredible food served here, mainly yakitoris, these grilled skewers of meat or vegetables. They arrive on your plate still sizzling and juicy. So, yes, you won't have much room and you might have to wait a little bit during the week to get a table, but the wait won't be in vain!
