LE SINGE VERT
Brunch and Senegalese cuisine, very good value for money, in a French restaurant-bistro with terrace in New York City
This young French restaurant-bistro is all the rage! This is due to its excellent value for money, friendly service (two rare things for a French restaurant in New York!) and, icing on the cake, its hint of Senegalese influences. Big salads, tartars (tuna and fish), moules marinières, garlic snails. The atmosphere in the dining room is cosy, and the close-knit but not uncomfortable tables are ideal for socializing. The small terrace is very popular in summer. Brunch is said to be " brunchtastic ", with a wide choice of dishes and bellinis (champagne cocktails) for refreshment.
