Charming room with a beautiful view, in a vintage hotel between Union Square and Greenwich Village.
Walker Hotel is located between Union Square and Greenwich Village, ideally located to reach Midtown and Downtown. The 113 rooms, with their old-fashioned Parisian pension style of the 1920s, are certainly small but, in addition to being very comfortable, they have a quite attractive character. Feel free to ask for one of the rooms on the upper floors, where the view is quite incredible. The staff is taking good care of the guests, as you would expect in a hotel of this standard. A very nice vintage address.

Sympa le voyage de noces !
Decor: lovely ✔️
Ambience: Nice ✔️ if you like dark and moody hotels
Room: Not like the photos, smaller than expected and lacking amenities (no fridge, no kettle/coffee/ no glasses/mugs/spoons)
‘City view’ inaccurate description… ‘dark alley’ view.
Heater/ AC: Unfortunately I didn’t sleep well… the room gets very hot and the A/C is very loud, so I had no choice but to turn off the A/C. Not able to open the windows either.
The bathroom: no counter top to put belongings/ just a sink.
Price: I think it’s too expensive for the quality of the room.
Service: Please have someone offer to take the bags! This is a simple yet necessary service for arriving guests.
Be wary of charging guests twice, as I had completed payment online and when I arrived was charged again+deposit.
