Youth hostel with wifi, close to the subway on the Upper West Side.
Less known than the other youth hostels on the Upper West Side, this establishment in northern New York is nevertheless pleasant and well maintained. On each floor there are three or four bathrooms, so it is quite rare to have to wait to take a shower. Some rooms are quite small and others have almost no daylight, so ask for a room with a window when you book. The hostel is located one block from the metro in a safe area. The only downside is the wifi, which is often slow.

Très bien situé. Chambre double correcte. Prix accessible pour new york. Petit bémol : il font payer la consigne pour garder des sacs le jour du départ.

Franchement très appréciable. Les chambres doubles sont propres. Le personnel semble parfois dormir où il y a de la place mais le fait discrètement. Très calme. Un chat qui semble appartenir à un viel asiatique qui écoute sa radio à fond jour et nuit, moins appréciable pour les voisins directs mais j'étais assez loin pour pouvoir le supporter. Voisinage à visiter pour ses belles maisons, notamment l'une dont le propriétaire a mis en place des jeux de lumière sur sa façade. Très chouette découverte.
