Rooms overlooking the George Washington Bridge, in a hotel close to the subway lines in Washington Height.
In the peaceful district of Washington Heights is nestled a hotel that acts as a refuge. The Edge Hotel offers neat and comfortable rooms, some of them with splendid views of the skyline and, more uniquely, the George Washington Bridge. Because it is slightly off-center, it offers rates below those of accommodations in the middle of Manhattan. Several subway lines run at the foot of the hotel, allowing you to reach Midtown in 25 minutes. A godsend.

We only needed the room to sleep, as we were in the area for our grandsons surgery.
Room was compact, but clean. Bed was comfortable.
Big issue was the heavy metal doors to the room. Anytime someone entered, or left their room, the door would slam very loudly throughtout the whole floor. Also, walls aren't well insulated and could hear if someone opened, or closed their closets in the next room.
It's a nice enough hotel overall.
