Baccarat Hotel
Baccarat Hotel in Manhattan and a few steps from MoMA, frequented by a preppy clientele, with chic and contemporary rooms
The Baccarat Hotel is the quintessence of French luxury made in New York. The establishment, located a stone's throw from the MoMA, is frequented by a very preppy clientele, which is not surprising when you see the rates charged. Luxury is omnipresent: each room is equipped with a crystal chandelier (Baccarat obliges) and has a chic and contemporary decoration of Parisian inspiration. The swimming pool and the gym are just the icing on the cake. The place is also known for its Afternoon Tea.

That said, the service can be lacking.
Example: fire alarm sounded and it was a false alarm. No problem. But after they determined that everyone could return to their rooms, the alarm kept going off for 30 minutes!!!! This happened at 3 am
No apology or any kind of gesture to rectify the event.
Check out was also very cold. No mention of the issues. They just didn’t want to engage in conversation. Didn’t feel right.
