The Beekman, A Thompson Hotel
Hotel, one of the most beautiful establishments in the financial district, located close to the attractions, near the Brooklyn Bridge
The Beekman is one of the most beautiful establishments in the financial district. Here, everything smells of luxury as soon as you step in the door. In the rooms, noble materials are the order of the day: leather headboards, marble bathrooms, oak floors... Needless to say, the staff is very attentive... To make matters worse, the hotel is close to many must-see attractions, including the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street and the National September 11 Memorial.

Capturing portraits of our sweet couple amidst the grandeur of The Beekman Hotel was an absolute delight. The timeless beauty of this exquisite venue provided the perfect backdrop for their love story, allowing us to create images that they will cherish for a lifetime. Whether you're looking for a wedding venue, or a special experience in New York, don't hesitate, book The Beekman.Highly recommend and look forward to being back soon!
Hotel Areas: 10/10. The most beautiful old NY mixed with some modern touches in the city. When you walk in this hotel, you immediately know you are someplace special. The look, feel and atmosphere is just incredible.
Staff: 10/10. Everyone from the front door to housekeeping were delightful. They were friendly, accommodating and always greeted with you a genuine smile. I got the impression the staff love working here.
Rooms: 9/10 - The room is very eclectic. However, if you are expecting the 5 star comfort and amenities that you'd get at a Four Seasons or Park Hyatt - you will not get it at the Beekman. The bathrooms are GREAT. The room shows every imperfection with it's vintage furniture. Almost every piece of furniture (minus the bed) in our room had deep scratches or stains. We had a One Bedroom Suite and we found the room to be very dark - even with every light on. Totally understand this is the vibe of the hotel, but next stay we will opt for a Studio Suite to have more natural light. Also wished they would provide a bottle of water per day - disappointed this was not offered even with my Hyatt status. Turndown service was EXCELLENT. Overall - the room was very clean.
Bar /Restaurant: 10/10: Just incredible. The best part of the Beekman. Be sure to book reservations on Resy ahead of time.
