SIXTY HOTEL
New York boutique-hotel with patio, bar and terrace offering a beautiful view of the Empire State Building, Manhattan and Downtown.
This boutique hotel, is a small jewel of 100 designer rooms with beds surrounded by dark wood and leather. To be noted, the charming small indoor patio and the bar, Butterfly, also very cosy and renovated in 2015. The establishment, formerly known as Thompson Hotel, is famous for its terrace overlooking a beautiful 12-storey brick building and offering a superb view of northern Manhattan and the Empire State Building, and Downtown. The icing on the cake: only hotel guests have access to it, which gives a feeling of exclusivity.

They offered us 2 rooms in the same floor but not near from each other so we tried to cancel the reservation they charged us for 2 nights since it was past 3pm
Attempts to resolve or even have the staff recognize this as a problem to address fell on deaf ears, both during and after my stay (The GM didn't even bother to chime in, and an assistant manager offered to refund a $30 resort fee off a $2000 stay - then stopped replying to further correspondence).
I think it is commonly known that hotels have two primary roles - a place to comfortably sleep and customer service to go along with that hospitality. this place failed majorly on both accounts. don't be fooled by the appearance of the property. it is all veneer.
