Luxurious rooms in a historic hotel with gym located at the corner of 6th Avenue in New York City.

The Warwick experienced its golden age in the 1930s and 1940s. William Randolph Hearst (aka Citizen Kane), a press magnate and film producer, had invested several million dollars in this thirty-three storey building on the corner of 6th Avenue. Today, the Warwick offers modern comfort. Its rooms are spacious, sometimes with balconies or terraces, and well equipped. The cupboards are huge, a reminder of the time when we travelled with five trunks, and the luxurious marble bathrooms. Also, a gym.

Fantastic service.

A menos de que quieras que te traten mal, no vengas. Mal servicio y mala organización. En el hotel no hay nada, a los empleados solo les hace falta escupirte mientras te hablan. Prepárate para pagar hasta lo que no has consumido

Solid middle-of-the-pack economical choice. As other reviewers commented, waiting for the elevators can be a bit of lag during rush hour (meal times), but it really wasn’t as bad a so expected. Elevators are small (as are the bathrooms), but it adds to the historic charm.

Interior rooms are soooooo quiet!!! I almost don’t want to post this so the rooms won’t be taken on my next trip, ha! Didn’t hear a single horn or siren. Didn’t hear anyone talking in the hallways or rooms around me. Air conditioning runs at a steady pace all night. Wonderful staff too, definitely will be my go to hotel when in NYC
