This cost-effective YMCA offers private rooms and dormitory beds, as well as access to sports facilities.

Located on Central Park West, this 585 room and dormitory YMCA is cool and hospitable. It is frequented by young travelers as well as families and businessmen. Access to sports facilities (swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, basketball courts, sauna, etc.) is included. Given the size of the residence and the number of guests, the reception is rather impersonal and the lobby looks more like a train station lobby than a hostel lobby. A small drawback is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which sometimes deteriorates during the day.

I think the place is good for people who are going to be out all day, getting to know New York, however the customer service is terrible, especially the Puerto Rican who is at the reception, for drugged and asleep, luckily not I had another problem.

Je suis parti seul à New York et je voulais trouver un endroit pas cher pour dormir car les loyers sont excessifs à New York j'ai trouvé ce petit voyage sciez j'ai mis une note correcte pour le service parce qu'il y a une piscine et il y a une salle de sport auquel on a accès on n'est pas loin du métro vu le nombre qu'on est concernant la propreté c'est compliqué on partage des salles de bains sur le palier c'est pas terrible on trouve des poils et autre chose non identifié appartenant aux autres c'est le jeu il y a de la moquette au sol je trouve ça super dégueulasse d'ailleurs la moquette n'a plus la couleur d'origine le matelas n'est pas confortable mais bon concernant le bruit c'est assez calme j'arrive à dormir donc pour la localisation et pour le fait de pouvoir se reposer c'est bon
