LIBRAIRIE ALBERTINE
Since the opening of this French bookstore in 2014, New York's Francophiles and Francophones have been delighted. Even if you don't have a book to buy, Albertine is worth a visit for its absolutely magnificent premises, in the old buildings of the cultural services of the French Embassy in the United States. The space was designed by the famous architect Jacques Garcia on the model of the beautiful French-style private libraries. The bookshop offers more than 14,000 French works in original or translated versions.
