This international film festival screens independent films from all over the world, and provides a platform for emerging filmmakers. It takes place every year in October, in the Chelsea district. The festival stands out for its cultural and artistic diversity. Since its inception in 2013, the Chelsea Film Festival has become one of the most important film festivals in the United States. And for the record, it's a mother-daughter duo of French actresses, Ingrid and Sonia Jean-Baptiste, who are behind it!
