PRIDE MARCH

There are so many costumes, sequins, frills and flowers on the occasion of this parade celebrating the LGBT community.
The sound systems pour all the music onto a crowd with multicoloured skins. So many disguises, sequins, frills, leathers, jewellery and make-up! The parade is a carnival, a real one, and the occasion for a giant release. Here, provocation is king, and straight people merrily mingle with the procession. One million people joined the parade from Midtown to Washington Square and Christopher Street in the Village, a symbol of the first fighting of the LGBT community in the United States.
