Great fireworks displays over the East River for the American National Day, commemorating July 4, 1776.
Festivities are held throughout the United States on the occasion of the American National Day. On July 4, 1776, the final version of the Declaration of Independence was validated and its adoption was voted on, marking the country's independence from Great Britain. In New York, everyone wears red, white and blue clothes (like the American flag!) and is getting ready to watch the fireworks from several points in Manhattan, usually from the East River. We position ourselves from rooftops or along the river.
