The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, with its dome inspired by that of Istanbul's Chora church.

After years of talks, waiting and finally construction, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church opened its doors in 2022. Why all the fuss about building a religious building? Because this one is destined to replace the church of the same name that disappeared on September 11. It is the only building apart from the World Trade Center buildings to have collapsed during the attacks. Its dome is inspired by that of the Church of the Chora in Istanbul.
