This elegant glass-covered building was inaugurated in May 2006 on the basis of the original building, destroyed after the twin towers in the afternoon of September 11. Not being a skyscraper and therefore requiring less work, it was the first completed project. The partial collapse of Tower 7 during the terrorist attacks and the total destruction of the building for security reasons continue to fuel the wildest conspiracy theories. On September 11, Tower 7 was actually destroyed by fires caused by the debris from the north tower during its collapse. According to the investigation, the fire spread far too quickly for the firefighters to respond. It turns out that the collapse of Tower 1 had also damaged the pipes and thus prevented water from entering the sprinklers that are supposed to be triggered in the event of a fire. So why does the collapse of this tower fuel many conspiracy theories? Because WTC 7 housed the CIA, the American intelligence and espionage agency and the Department of Defense. This is enough to make conspiracy theorists say that the building should never have collapsed and that it was deliberately destroyed with explosives to burn the many documents that the CIA and the government would have to hide. You will notice in passing that there is no WTC 6. Why? Why? Because the original Tower 6 was located where the One World Trade Center was built.
