HALL DES LUMIÈRES
A handsome 1909 building that once housed the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank Building in Manhattan.
Created by the cultural organization also behind the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, the Hall of Lights moved to 49 Chambers Street in Manhattan in September 2022. This beautiful 1909 building once housed the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank Building. The goal is to offer immersive digital exhibitions: paintings are projected in very high resolution on the walls, ceilings and columns of this magnificent hall and move to the rhythm of music. At the inauguration, the exhibition Gustave Klimt: Gold in Motion was presented.
