The quietest park at the southern tip of Manhattan with a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

Located at the southern end of Manhattan, this park is one of the quietest in the city. It offers a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At sunset, when the traders have gone home, the park is cooled by the sea breeze. And you can see, right there, Manhattan already illuminated and not yet in bed. Going up the path along the Hudson River, you reach the marina where yachts and sailing boats set sail. From there, you can take the boats of the NYC Ferry network and the ferry that takes travelers to Staten Island for free.

A voir, le Castle Clinton, la Sphère et quelques autres oeuvres d'art intéressantes. Vue de près de la skyline. Incontournable si vous allez à Liberty et/ou Ellis Island.

Nous y avons promené à la tombée de la nuit, c'était vraiment un moment agréable. Peu de touristes, des pêcheurs le long de la promenade, un joli manège illuminé.
La vue sur la statue de la liberté est sympa et il y a également un impressionnant mémorial!

But brilliant city. New York is definitively a city to visit. I squeezed only one, go back. This park is really very nice views of crazy. prefer to go there in the evening. Manhattan is very illuminated, boats, and the thrill for this city that never sleeps.
