THE LAKE
Artificial lake surrounded by trees in Central Park offering a boat tour on its peaceful waters
Central Park includes seven bodies of water, all artificial. The most popular, and most picturesque, is probably The Lake, where it is possible to go boating. Go to the Loeb Boathouse Boat Rental, in the eastern part of the lake, to rent your own boat and let yourself sail on its peaceful waters. You can pass under the Bow Bridge, which crosses the lake. In autumn, in particular, the trees surrounding the lake, from which the two towers of the sublime Eldorado building extend, offer breathtaking landscapes.
