Very pleasant and busy park in a peaceful haven facing Queens, home to the official residence of the Mayor of New York
Facing Queens along the East River, this long park is home to Gracie Mansion, the official residence of the Mayor of New York. Very pleasant and little known, it is frequented mainly by residents of the Upper East Side who are careful not to sell the wick. An ideal haven of peace for a short walk, which allows you to forget the time and excitement of the city for a few moments... This is where the fight scene between Edward Norton and Barry Pepper was shot in Spike Lee's film The 25th Hour, with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
