Following the September 11 attacks and the destruction of the Twin Towers, it was decided early on that an arts center would be part of the new World Trade Center sites. The PAC finally opened its doors in September 2023, and is notable for its box-like appearance. It occupies three floors and hosts dance, theater and music productions. The building is even prettier in the evening, when it dons its beautiful golden gown.
