One of the most charming streets in the West Village, where you can admire a wooden house built in 1822.
One of the West Village's most charming streets is also one of the city's smallest, spanning five blocks. Grove Street is leafy and has a pleasant rustic feel to it, with its townhouses with visible stairs. Between numbers 10 and 12 is Grove Court, a small courtyard hidden behind a gate and framed by six brick houses attached to each other. At number 17, you can admire a wooden house built in 1822, recognizable by its shingles (and its ceiling beams, if you are lucky enough to enter!).
