SWEETWATER
Brunch and modern American cuisine in a vintage restaurant in New York.
A very good establishment in a place steeped in history. Before being a restaurant, the address housed a tavern where sailors and slaughterhouse employees met, and then a punk bar. The current owners had the good idea to keep the original walls and ceiling. Vintage, real. Opened in 2004, Sweetwater was one of the precursors of Brooklyn's new American cuisine. The cuisine is similar to modernised Comfort food with a French touch. To discover for brunch in particular, even if there is often waiting.
