DIVIERA DRIVE
Excellent cuisine to be enjoyed in a superb Italian restaurant in Williamsburg.
Diviera Drive is one of the symbols of today's Williamsburg. Gone are the narrow Italian restaurants with their US$3 pizza slices. The northern Brooklyn neighborhood is now a suburban annex of Manhattan and home to new American cuisine. This restaurant opened in April 2015 in what was previously a former garage. A huge poster of a Formula 1 car and a superb Cadillac in the garden evoke this not-so-distant past. There's plenty of Italy in the decor too, with a Vespa, some Italian advertising posters and even a pizza oven imported from Naples! The cuisine is of the highest quality, but the prices can be discouraging (between US$16 and US$22 for a pasta dish). We recommend starting your meal with one of the many starters on the menu, including grilled calamari served with aïoli sauce, crab and avocado salad and zucchini gazpacho.
